Dadan and Jabal Ikmah reward visitors who enjoy history, ancient inscriptions and context. The biggest planning advantage is simple: don’t squeeze the visit too tightly between other reservations.
If you combine it with Hegra, visit after Hegra but leave at least 40 minutes between the two experiences.
In summer, go at the start of the day. In winter, midday and before evening both work well.
